Skyview Community School
Skyview Community School first opened its doors on September 3, 1996. Skyview is realistically two schools in one having both K-5 elementary and a middle school students in grades 6-8. Travis Barringer is the principal of the elementary school and Joe Slavin is principal for the middle school. Skyview was designed with the cooperation and ideas of input from educators, parents, and community members who envisioned all ages working and learning together.
==Skyview Elementary School==
The elementary school serves more than 600 students from the communities of Oakdale, Woodbury, and Lake Elmo in Minnesota. The building is divided into houses where two grade levels share a common area for group work and special assignments. The expectations of the elementary school are 1. Be respectful 2. Be responsible 3. Be safe. Skyview Elementary's focus is recognizing and teaching positive behavior. The school has an after school "daycare" for children called Adventure Connection where they can go if parents are stuck at work and need somewhere for the kids to go.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.isd622.org/domain/547 )〕
